Dear United States Senate Judiciary Committee
As you begin the confirmation hearings for SCOTUS Nominee Alito today, I would ask that y0u keep these things in mind:
1. The abortion questions has been resolved, 33 years ago. While an abomination before man and God, it is unfortunately the law of the land. There is no sense asking Nominee Alito what his stand on this issue is.
2. He is the President's nominee and deserves an up or down vote by the FULL Senate. Regardless of how you (esp the Democrats) feel about President Bush.
Oh, and for the Committee of the Whole, you Republicans have a MAJORITY in the Senate. Act like it.
Respectfully (yeah, right),
Sarge
Sarge, out
